A team that cares.

At Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers, we treat our clients like family. Developing this kind of bond has become an enduring part of our success.

Some of our past clients have been so satisfied with our commitment to full-circle care, they have wanted to continue working with our team in another capacity. As client liaisons, these staff members put their own intimate knowledge of the personal injury journey into helping others feel more at ease during this difficult time.

No matter what their role is in our organization, you will find members of our team dedicated to helping our clients and our community to live their best life possible. If you are interested in working on our team, contact info@gluckstein.com

Articling with Gluckstein.

Articling and summer students.

Sometimes the best classroom is not a classroom at all. At Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers, we are proud to offer an articling program that prepares graduating law students with real world experience in personal injury law. Working alongside our firm’s top litigators and our superb support staff, you will get an immersive education in how personal injury law operates by assisting on real cases and helping real people.

Our past students have told us that their time with Gluckstein Lawyers has set them up for a successful career (sometimes at our firm) by equipping them with tangible experience, exposing them to diverse people and cases, and teaching them how to apply what they have already learned in the classroom to great effect.

Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers is proud to welcome applications for our well-reviewed articling program.

Two paths to practice law.

Choose your own experience.

To become licensed to practice law in the province, the Law Society of Ontario requires an applicant to complete either the eight-month Law Practice Program (LPP) or a 10-month period of articles under the supervision of an approved lawyer.

Choosing the articling path provides graduating law students with a superb opportunity to experience various legal environments prior to beginning their own practice.

Articling principals can include lawyers working in:

  • Private firms.
  • An organization’s internal legal department.
  • A government workplace.
  • Other legal centres.

Acting as a clerk for a judge can also satisfy this requirement.

The advantages of articling with Gluckstein.

As one of the country’s top boutique personal injury law firms, Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers offers a unique articling experience where you will receive incomparable hands-on experience in the world of civil litigation while working alongside a welcoming and supportive team.

You will receive assignments that will give you a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of practising personal injury law, including our renowned commitment to full-circle client care.

Articling students at Gluckstein Lawyers will draft pleadings, memoranda and motions for a wide variety of personal injury civil actions. Students are encouraged and expected to advocate their motions on behalf of clients before courts and tribunals. At times there may also be opportunities for articling students to carry their own files under the supervision of our experienced lawyers.

Working in tandem with members of our team, articling students will gain a sense of how our firm manages the client experience like no other. Past students, many of whom go on to join our firm as associates, have expressed their admiration especially for this part of their time with us as it often shapes their own ideas of what lawyers can and should do for their clients.
